Presteigne residents Alex Valentine and Dave Luke, delivering original songs and classy interpretations in the country-folk genre.

Herefordshire songwriter, Jakey Boy Hughes, creates melodic tunes matched with contemplative and personal narratives. Influenced by the great songwriting tradition of legends such as Lennon, Maccartney, Brian Wilson, Simon and Garfunkel, Neil Young, Harry Nillson, Elliot Smith and Alex Turner, Jakey will play some of his original songs offered up with a country twist, for this wild west edition at the Presteigne Assembly rooms.   

Jessica Rising are long-time friends Jesse and Hels singing Jesse's melancholic, emotive songs, and some folk covers too. Fiddle and guitar back close-harmonic stories of heartbreak and freedom.
