HIRE

Presteigne Assembly Rooms is suitable for workshops, presentations, lectures and as a rehearsal space.
Centrally located, on the corner of Broad Street and the High Street, the Assembly Rooms are in a prime position in Presteigne as a marketing venue or for consultations and meetings.

THE UPSTAIRS ROOM

The Upstairs Room at the Assembly Rooms now has Wifi. It is suitable for workshops, events and larger meetings. The Upstairs Room has good ventilation and natural light from six large windows. It is equipped with lots of chairs and tables, tiered seating, an attractive bar and a Steinway piano.

HIRE CHARGES

Arts Events

£25 per hour / £65 per morning (3.5hrs) / £65 per afternoon(3.5hrs) / £95 per evening (4 hrs)

There is a 10% discount for regular bookings of 6 sessions or more on the above rates for hire of the main room for arts events

Commercial Use

£80 per morning / £80 per afternoon / £140 per day (9-5pm) £140 evening

Community Workshops

£15 per hour

Private hire of main room

Hire is charged at commercial rate with an additional charge of £25 per hour after 10.30pm

There are additional charges as follows:

Cleaning Charge £30 (if food and drink are involved)

Provision of Bar £75

Dance Floor £50

Removal of seating unit for Cabaret style seating £75

POA for PA/lighting

THE DOWNSTAIRS ROOM

The recently decorated Back Room at the Assembly Rooms now has Wifi. It is a versatile space, suitable for meetings, discussion groups and classes. The Back Room has a wood floor, wooden tables and chairs, good lighting and ventilation, and a well-equipped kitchenette for refreshments.

There is space for 15 – 20 people.
