In 2002 John Osborne won a box of records in a competition on John Peel's Radio 1 show. This is story about why radio is such an important thing in the lives of so many people, featuring some of those records played live on stage. A version of the show was recorded at the BBC Radio Theatre and broadcast on Radio 4 and chosen as Pick of the Day in The Radio Times
