A wicked Palme d’Or winning satire from the director of The Square, which targeted the art world, this film concentrates on the relationship between beauty and power. A celebrity model couple board a superyacht for a luxury cruise. However, in the hands of the eccentric captain (Woody Harrelson) the voyage goes catastrophically wrong when the ship is struck by a severe storm. The power dynamic amongst the crew and passengers is subsequently put to the test. Featuring the final performance of the late-lamented Charlbi Dean (Force Majeure) this is a dark and comic demolition of the super-rich.
